The Biodôme is a genuine oasis in downtown Montréal! There, I was transported to the loveliest ecosystems in the Americas. I was even able to discover the wildlife found in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. This glass dome is a magnificent, amazing space for life!

Homarus Eco-Centre
If you’re touring New Brunswick, I strongly advise you to visit the Homarus Eco-Centre to learn absolutely everything about lobsters. In the mini-hatchery, you can see lobster larva and touch adult lobsters. I loved the seine net fishing activity, which taught me how to identify many species that live on the coast.

Exploramer
At the Exploramer marine activity centre, I was able to touch all sorts of marine animals like sea urchins and sea cucumbers, and to get to know the sharks found in the St. Lawrence! They weren’t actually alive…but it was fascinating…The trip out to sea was a blast of fresh air. The St. Lawrence’s beauty and rich biodiversity are amazing!

Musée du Fjord
While visiting the Saguenay Fjord and Baie des Ha! Ha!, I stopped in at the Musée du Fjord. In addition to learning about the rich biodiversity of these waters, I had a lot of fun doing the interactive science activities.
